What is CBD?CBD contains trace amounts of THC, but a different cannabinoid responsible for “marijuana’s” psychoactive effects. In fact, CBD is non-psychoactive and is thought to help curb some of THC’s less desired side effects, like paranoia and elevated heart rate. All our products are below the legal thresh of .3% Delta9 THC. CBD (also known as Cannabidiol) is one of about 120 cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. What does CBD do?CBD interacts with our body’s endocannabinoid system— a biological network composed of cannabinoid receptors and signalers— to help the body maintain overall health and homeostasis. The endocannabinoid system plays a role in many bodily functions including, Sleep Mood Stress Metabolism and appetite Memory and our ability to retain new information CBD is known as a phytocannabinoid, phyto- meaning ‘of the plant’ and mimics our body’s endocannabinoids, endo- meaning internal, that our bodies naturally produce. Some believe that consuming phytocannabinoids like CBD can help a user’s endocannabinoid system run more efficiently. Geek out on a four minute video explaining what our endocannabinoid system is.

CBD vs THCTetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol(CBD) are two of the 120 cannabinoids found in the Cannabis sativa plant. THC is the compound that imparts that ‘high’ feeling and has many medicinal qualities. However, CBD may have more of the medicinal attributes of THC while lacking THC’s psychoactive properties. In fact, CBD works to regulate these properties in the body. Putting CBD it into the same category as marijuana is profoundly misguided. And depending on the state you live in, marijuana, may or may not be legal. Whereas, hemp is legal now in all 50 states. Hemp contains trace amounts THC. Hemp contains other cannabinoids, one of them is CBD. In order to be classified as hemp, a cannabis plant must contain less than 0.3% THC by volume. This is the reason why hemp products are legal to buy, sell and ship. Which is why anyone can order CBD derived from hemp plant, straight to their doorstep. Geek out in this video on CBD vs THC

Can CBD show up on a drug test? The cannabinoid CBD does not show up on drug tests because drug tests aren’t looking for CBD metabolites (what’s left after our body breaks CBD down.) Workplace drug tests are looking for THC metabolites that can show up in your body after you take full-spectrum CBD products, like gummies, oils, and hemp flower. We cannot make any claims to this one way or another except to say that in all drug tests, CBD is considered to be undetectable in saliva or urine tests. There does, however, remain the rare instance that the trace amounts of THC in hemp may be detected. All of our CBD hemp flowers comply with all applicable regulations regarding minimal (less than 0.3%) THC content as required by law. If you are on the fence about this point, it is our opinion that it is not worth risking your employment by using our products. However we do over a THC free product which is our CBD drops.

How long does it take for CBD to work? That's a good question. There are many factors to consider. One consideration is what product you are using. Also, consider your general health, the amount you took, and your digestion. The effects may be different for everyone, and everyone's body may respond differently. We suggest talking to an informed healthcare professional and starting with minimal doses to gauge your reaction to it and then adjust from there. Usually, oils start working in 15-45 minutes, and flower within 5-15 minutes.

When should I take my CBD oil? Most people don't necessarily have a set time they take their oil. It depends on your situation. Talk to an informed healthcare provider to help guide you. We suggest you take your CBD oil at the same time every day. Doing so helps ensure you don't forget a dose or unintentionally double up on doses.
-

On average, the adult CBD user takes 8 to 25 MG of CBD per serving. Our CBD drops strength is 1mL=25mg of CBD. However, if you're concerned about dosing, we recommend you consult with a physician.
-
At what frequency should I take CBD drops (oil). We typically advise that you do not exceed three servings of CBD per day. That said, there are no strict guidelines for how much CBD to take. This is an individual choice, and your personal experiences will guide you better than anything we could recommend. We also recommend to our customers to start at low doses at low frequencies and to scale up from there until they reach the desired effect level. If you are concerned that you are taking too much, we advise you to consult with a licensed physician.

Is Eco Friendly Pharm Organic?Eco Friendly Pharm is not an organic farm, instead of paying the organic licensing fee, we choose to invest in sustainable farming practices like: Sun growing Field rotation Integrated pest management systems Not spraying pesticides & herbicides that may have a detrimental effect both on wildlife and your CBD! We do however treat all plants organically, just with out the certification.
-
What is IPM or integrated pest management?Integrated pest management (IPM) is a pest mitigation system wherein we can use predatory bugs to control pests that would otherwise feed on our hemp plants. For example, in order to keep the aphids at the farm under control, we use ladybugs. Periodically throughout the growing season, we’ll strategically place ladybug eggs around the field and sometimes on the hemp plants themselves. When the ladybugs hatch, they get right to work eating the harmful aphids and helping us protect the wonderful hemp plants. When we use bugs to eat bugs, we don’t have to spray harmful chemicals all over the hemp plants.
-
Do you grow your own hemp?Yes we do! We are an vertically integrated farm. Which means we grow everything and process everything we grow.
